Episode 3: my mom's saying about holistic beauty

This is my mom’s beautiful harvest from the summer and a delicious squash dish she made recently (inspired by a magazine).

Growing up, my mom always used to tell me that true beauty is more about the parts we don’t see than the parts we do. It’s about washing your body properly in the shower, flossing when you don’t want to, getting enough sleep, and having a clean room. As I’ve been growing up, I’ve been understanding more deeply that true beauty is holistic. It’s not simply about beautiful clothes or embellishing with makeup. Beauty begins with an attitude that transforms both behaviors that are seen and those that are not seen.
